About these terms

These terms apply when you request or purchase a service from Authentic Hue, operated by Jes Victor. By submitting an inquiry or purchasing a service, you agree to them.

Invite only booking

All services are by invite only. Submitting the inquiry form is a request, not a booking, and does not guarantee a spot. We will reply with our current availability, and if we can take you on, we will send a secure Stripe payment link. Your booking is confirmed once payment is received.

What you receive

Each service is described on our home page. In short:

• Authentic Hues ($175) — your sub-season, a 3-page PDF, all palettes for your sub-season, and a custom palette of your top 25 colors with your top 5 Authentic Hues.
• Authentic Hues with Personalized Audio ($245) — everything above, plus Hue Swap and a 45–55 minute guided audio recording.
• Gift Vouchers — either service, purchased for someone else.

After purchase you will receive an email from Authentic Hue within 48 hours detailing your next steps. That email will confirm the turnaround time for your finished analysis.

What we need from you

Your analysis depends on the photographs and questionnaire you provide. You agree to submit draped selfies that follow the instructions we send — natural light, no filters, no makeup where indicated, and accurate answers. We may ask you to retake photos if they cannot be read accurately. If we do not receive usable photos and a completed questionnaire within 30 days of purchase, we may close your order.

Nature of the service

Color analysis is a professional opinion and a styling service, not an exact science. Results are our expert interpretation of your undertone, contrast, and chroma. Screen calibration and lighting vary, so printed or on-screen colors may differ slightly from what you see. We cannot guarantee any particular outcome or that you will agree with your typing.

Refunds and cancellations

• No refund once work on your analysis has begun, since each deliverable is custom-made for you.
• If something has gone wrong with your order, email us and we will make it right.

Your results are for you

Your PDF, palettes, Hue Swap image, and audio recording are licensed to you for your own personal use. Please do not resell, redistribute, or republish them, or present the analysis as your own professional work.

Your photographs

You keep ownership of the photographs you send. We use them only to complete your analysis, and we will not publish or share them without asking you first. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Gift vouchers

Gift vouchers are non-refundable and non-transferable for cash. Vouchers are valid for 24 months from purchase.

Acceptable conduct

We ask that all communication stays respectful. We reserve the right to decline or end a booking, with a refund for work not yet done, in cases of abusive behavior or harassment.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service.
